What's going on lil dog? I know you probably weren't expecting this letter but I have the feeling that if I don't share certain things with you no one ever will. I wish i could have written this to you earlier in life but unfortunately i was caught up on the fleeting pleasures of this passing life, so just like you my vision was blurred! And I know that because things are looking promising for you at this point in life you may think this is a letter of praise but honestly homie, it’s not! But I want you to understand that just because it isn't doesn't mean it's not written out of love, i just want to bring to the light a few things.
I know right now you are feeling like life is good. You are popular, you got females on your team saying "oh he's so sweet", you are doing your thing in football, you are satisfied with your grades, you are getting awards, you got a scholarship, you got you a ride making heads turn, you keep a fresh yet simple fit on, you don't have any enemies, everybody sees you as the good kid, you never get in trouble or get caught up, you know how to add Jesus into your convo when you need to, i mean your life just seems to be perfect and deserving of praise!
Ima be real with you bruh, I mean you do often quote "real recognize real" so I hope you see the truth in this letter no sugar coating. You got people fooled and you need to be honest with yourself about yourself! You walk around with everyone calling you by the nickname "preach" because you throw up the name Jesus here and there but dog you don't live what you preach! The word Christian shouldn't even be coming off your lips. Them ladies may be saying "you sweet" but bruh you are no different from the next homie who has 1 intention!! Your ego and pride is inflamed and puffed up every time you get complimented on your clothes or anything physically, football is your God, you never get caught up because everything you are doing is behind closed doors, and you may not have visible enemies but one thing I know for sure is that you have an invisible enemy who has you deceived really good right now.
Are you familiar with gravity? You know how the force of it is so strong that it pulls everything to the center of the earth, it pulls us down/keeps us down. When you think about this from a spiritual perspective sin is equal to gravity! Sin is such a powerful force in the very nature of mankind and it is causing many to fall to their very destruction. It is pulling humanity down and keeping them down until finally they are destroyed one by one. This is everyone who is outside of Christ because Christ is the only one who can give us the power to defy/resist the force of sin and move vertical in him rather than downward to destruction. Rest assure gravity/sin will run its course and get the best of most people and there are only a few who will run to the true source that can keep them from the horrific and demolishing affects of sin. Which will you be?
