What a whirlwind these past two months have been! Many uncomfortable hours have been spent on buses, planes, trains, and convies to get to where we needed to be. The Lord stole our hearts and brought us halfway across the world to preach the Gospel to the people that He loves, the ones He bled on the cross for. His people are the ones who have been unreached and unloved by the world and they’re starving for truth and seeking prayer & healing.
It is because of your prayers and financial support that team ‘Genesis’ was able to pray healing over many in a remote village in Zambia. It was because of your support that the witch doctor, after seeing healing in the name of Jesus, gave his life to Christ.
These are the strings the witch doctor put on them that were supposed to bring healing. They had worn these strings for years with no improvement, rather these demonic instruments had only oppressed them more. Once they were told about Jesus, they cut them off!
It is because of your support that team ‘Fierce Pursuit’ was able to fight two fires in one day and prevent the flames from spreading to the orphanage houses.
It is because of your support that team ‘P31’ was able to love and teach kids who had been abandoned, neglected and abused.
It is because of your support that team ‘Redeeming D.U.S.T’ was able to visit orphaned HIV+ children. For once, these children who constantly live under an oppressive state, felt LOVED because some crazy Americans came all this way just to spend time with them, play with them, love them and tell them about JESUS.
It is because of your support that a woman left us, hands raised in the air, singing praises to Jesus because ‘team SHEkinah’ was able to tell her about Jesus and pray healing for her crippled arm.
It is because of your support that team ‘J159’ was able to minister to the lame and the poor.
It is because of your support that 'team Degel’ was able to encourage and pray for a bed-ridden husband and his faithful wife, speaking truth and words of encouragement into their lives.
It is because of your support that 'team Ignite’ was able to serve food to the hungry, share testimonies, songs of worship, and the Gospel message.
It is because of your support that 'team Lacham’ was able to pray healing, rest, comfort, and deep, peaceful breaths for Enrico, an orphaned epileptic child.
We were obedient in the call and so were you.
Romans 8:32 “ He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”
We are called to serve our one, true, and living God. We can do that not only because He is so worthy of our worship but because we can trust Him that He is a GOOD FATHER.
ON our squad, we’ve had things stolen, we’ve had to ration our food and water, we’ve been unsure of where we’re going to sleep next, and we’ve been in sketchy situations where we should NOT have been safe…but…
We have a GOOD FATHER. He’s protected us; he’s provided lodging, food and water. AND.. do you know what I’ve noticed? Sometimes, not only has He provided the necessities but MUCH more! That’s because He LOVES US.
We want to continue to serve our Father but unless financial support comes in during the next 4 weeks (December 1st) all these people are going home.
