What led me to this point? In 2008 my first mission experience began by traveling to East Asia. This trip was such an eye opening experience and it taught me about myself and the importancde of spreading the Love of Christ. Because of the first experience I decided to go back in 2010 which was a different experience, yet very rewarding. Both experiences helped me draw closer to God and it also taught me valuable lessons on how fortunate we are in America and how fortunate I am. Although I had my ups and downs with these experiences, there has always been a deep urge to go again without looking back. Although I often questioned myself about whether I should go or not, it wasn’t until a weird yet interesting coincidence happened that made me say YES.

As crazy as this may sound, it is true and I have no reason to lie. For some odd reason I began to see 11:11 all the time. This has happened over the course of 6 years, but I began to see it more frequently than ever within 2011. I’d see it on clocks, posters, TV, phone calls, signs, books, room doors, license plates, etc. I had no clue what this meant and to be honest I still do not know. So what’s so important about 11:11? Well as stated earlier my heart has grown so much to do missions. I can remember the time I said “I’d never go overseas” it’s funny how things change. Anyway, as I began to do research on different organizations to go through I eventually stumbled across World Race Adventures in Missions. I wasn’t immediately intrigued by their site, but something led me to spend several days looking at blogs, videos, pictures, requirements, faith statement, etc. As the days went by, it finally dawned on me that underneath World Race was the number 11n11. This blew my mind and at that point I thought to myself “what are the odds of seeing 11n11 on a mission’s website and God why isn’t this 10n10 or 12n12 let’s be real here.” After reviewing the information posted on their site, I found out that the 11n11 means 11 countries in 11 months. All I could say was WOW. This is a prayer answered.
