Woo, by far the most culture shock I've ever had and here is a list why:

Men wearing skirts
cow poop everywhere
trash in every place you look
hot and sweaty all day
noise all the time
Human poop and urine on the street
No trash cans
car horns being blown at all times of the day
buses are only one speed  bump from collapsing
taxis filled with random people
taxis riding dirty- no license and dodging the police
men, women and children running up and down the streets constantly
children running naked everywhere
curry in the smell of the air
heat beaming down all day
people starring as though you were not human
people thinking because I am dark I am a local but my hair is different so I cant be
eating with only your right hand everyday
The left hand is used to wipe your butt
not sure if your hands are clean when you eat
pooping in stinky urine and poop filled squatty potties
people yelling in the streets and I dont know if it's an argument or regular conversation
Time doesn't exist here
Women grabbing my checks and saying nice boy
Poor people on every corner
Women veiled from head to toe
Water buffalo walking the street
Goats roaming around
Pooping in a bucket on a roof for my toilet
Making a private bathroom in the woods using palm branches, footprints, and rain fly,  to make a curtain
Spicy food on every plate
Staying in villages
No shower for 3 days at a time
Dirty clothes being worn over and over
Beaches have dead sea creatures on it
Mosquitoes and bugs enjoying my flesh
Taking showers with a bucket
People trying to pay for prayer
Butt burns from all the spices
constipated from eating rice everyday
Bottled water is filled then refilled with fresh water and sold again
Dirty hands serving your food
Dishes being used are sprayed wiped with dirty towel and reused
Thorns poking through my shoes when we walk
Smashing spiders with my hand
spiders making their home in my tent while I'm sleeping

Don't get it twisted India isn't horrible it's just different, very different. This was a good month and I'll write more on the ministry we did later. Thank you to all those who take time to read my blogs. Much love
