11 months.

11 countries.

Done.

Now what?

Well, that answer came about a week ago. I found out AIM was looking for Passport trip leaders. After some looking into Passport, a trip for college aged student, and praying about what to do, I applied.

I took the plunge yet again.

After questions were answered, an interview over, and several emails passed back and forth, I got word that I was accepted to lead a Passport trip this summer.

This summer.

The next email I received included dates of leadership training, ministry, and travel. It turns out that leadership training for this trip begins the day I land back in the USA after 11 months abroad.

The same day.

So, you are probably asking your computer screen a multitude of things:

“Are you crazy?”

“Will you get to go home?”

“Where are you going?”

“How long will you be gone?”

“Do you have to raise more money?”

Here are the answers:

Yes, I am crazy!

I will get home on May 31st around noon and I will fly in the evening to Georgia on June 1st. Just enough time to eat a Chipotle burrito, repack my pack, and drive a car by myself. And, of course see family!

I get to lead the African Expedition trip, which includes the countries of Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique.

This trip is 2 months. (So, I’ll be home more permanently on July 31st.)

Yes! I need help with fundraising! I need to have $1,700 in my account by the time I leave for leadership training. That’s all for my 2 months! It’s not much time to raise the money, but, yet again, I know God loves to provide for His children in awesome ways. I also need some personal money for flights to training and back home.

Would you consider supporting me? God has worked this out all in His perfect timing. There is something for me in Africa. Something He wants me to see and do. Please help me get there.
