After two very long days of travel, I am so happy to say that I am finally in Thailand and oh how I love it so much already.

For the past couple of days, my squad and I have been staying at a base in a small suburb of Bangkok. While here, we got to explore the city a bit and learn more about the beautiful new country we get to call home for the next 3 months. This place is full of big stories to tell, laughs to be shared, and love to be spread.

After only being in our new country for half a day, I already had a crazy but extremely fun adventure. Our first night, 10 of us from my squad managed to get a little lost in Bangkok and ended up hopping on a bus that took us the complete opposite way from home. One would think that being completely lost in a foreign country would be scary but we had so much fun with it. On a bus ride that should have taken 30 minutes but turned into 2 and a half hours, great conversations were had and memories were made. It truly is the little things like getting lost in Bangkok on your first night of being in Thailand that create the best memories.

So life is pretty wonderful here. There is already so much joy in my life that has come from finally being here in Thailand.

After a 3 hour bus ride, my team arrived at our ministry site yesterday. We are staying a very humble, little place in the middle of a cute and very close-knit town called Tak Fa with 2 cute little rooms, a full bathroom, and clean water. God has already provided so much for us here in Tak Fa. Within minutes of being here, we were already greeted by huge smiles from sweet girls my age that are involved with the church we are ministering with. We played Jenga and Uno, tried to learn a little basic Thai from the girls and experienced life like we never have before. My heart became so full when we worshipped with our new friends. I’ve realized there is nothing more beautiful than praising our good good father in 2 different languages. There truly is nothing like it. We played soccer with 2 Thai children barefoot in the street and God continued to fill my heart up even more. This place feels so much like home already. Everyone is so kind and there is nothing but smiles here. God is already doing great things here and my team and I are so ready to just spread some love and expand the Kingdom here.

Lastly, I just wanted to say a huge thank you again to all of you. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for supporting me and encouraging me along the way. Thank you all for loving me so well. Thank you for making this possible!! I am so happy here. I just ask for continued prayers for my team and the people of Tak Fa that God would be moving in big ways and that His great love would be made known to all.

Lots of love,
