I just wanted to take a moment to let everyone know we made it safely across the border. I am loving it here in Vietnam. It is beautiful and people are super friendly. We went to the war memorial and took a tour of the palace. I’m not really sure what other fun things we will get to do, but we are enjoying our time here. We eat noodles pretty frequently and will hopefully soon be able to start cooking some rice with veggies…mmm.
Opportunities to meet new people are coming up all the time andI am grateful. I am even learning to speak some of their language. I can say a few phrases likes, hello, how are you, what is your name, you are very beautiful, and thank you. It may not be much, but it’s a start! It rains here almost every afternoon and the moon has been beautiful. I look forward to my stay.
