Beautiful, sweet, touristy, rainy, amazing, incredible
Croatia. That is currently where I
am. I am living in a coffee shop. I am serving with Global Café in Split
Croatia. It’s beautiful in Split. We are right by the water. The mountains are more than just visible and
God’s beauty and nature are all around us. It does not matter where I go or what I do, I instantly KNOW God’s
presence is there. My heart feels with
joy and love every time I wake up. Every
time I walk out the door and take a deep breath, I’m FINALLY in Croatia! My heart has been here for years, but never
did I imagine coming here. No, I am not
in a small town nor am I experiencing “traditional” Croatian lifestyles, but I
am experiencing what it means to live in a tourist city in Croatia and I’ve met
some really amazing Croatian men who love the Lord with all their hearts and
are eager to learn more about Him and about what it means to be a child of the
Most High God. I am experiencing what it
is like to be a teenager in Split Croatia and learning more and more about
their culture. I have experienced a
“traditional” Croatian meal and I have listened to traditional Croatian
music. I am learning more and more about
this country that I have known I would one day meet. My time here is short and I know that. I know that in a few days I will be saying
good-bye to this city and to this country, but I am taking advantage of every
moment I can.
