“Be energetic in your life of salvation, reverent and sensitive before God. That energy is God’s energy, an energy deep within you, God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure.”  Phil. 2:12-13 (The Message)

Today we spent time doing construction in the colonials and prayer walking the neighboring communities.
As we were walking through the neighborhoods we saw a man ahead of us who had his hands wrapped in gauze. We decided to pray for him and stopped while he was still up ahead of us on the road. After praying for him we continued on, but ended up running into him a short time later. As we passed him on the street he asked us if we were Christians and if we would pray for him. Laughing, we replied that we had already prayed for him a few minutes ago, but would love to pray together with him. He explained how his arthritis had hindered him from working a job and how he was in charge of caring for his son, but could not. We prayed God’s blessings, provision and quick healing over him so that he could provide for himself and family.
We were so astonished by how our big God cares so much about all of us and even knows how to care for us!
