I hope you enjoy the pictures above. We went up a mountain one morning to see the sunrise, absoloutely beautiful. Also I got cornrows in my hair for fun. I am enjoying them alot. We had a girls day and got our hair done. The other girls got rollers, hence Katie with her rollers:) The one picture is of our pastor and myself. He was amazing. And the rest are people from the church. I also got a good group shot with our pastor. I will miss them all so much!!!

I have to come to realize in a very short time that saying goodbye to a community of people we have grown to love is part of the race. I knew this moment would come but when it comes it`s still hard. We are done our time in Arroyo Cano and about to leave for Ecuador on Thurs.

On our last night here (sunday night) during their church service they had a time for people to say goodbye and bless us. A couple people that got to know us well got up and said such amazing words over us. They thanked us for being a blessing to them and their community. They said that we are a very animated group of people and very exciting. We have blessed them and the children too. They said they are sad to see us leave but will pray for us as we go to our next countries. We will always be in their hearts.

Well needless to say the waterfalls started and I was a mess. I thought everything they said to us we could say the same to them. They have blessed us by accepting us into their family and loving upon us. They showed us how to be more Christ like and not take anything for granted. They showed us joy and how be more like Christ in our daily work and lives.

I always have a hard time with goodbyes and am learning it`s all part of the journey. As hard as it is I pray that the seeds we planted here may continue to grow. I pray that AIM sends another team after us to continue to grow the seeds we planted.
Pray for travelling safety as we leave on Thurs for Ecuador. We are excited for what`s ahead. We have two stop overs, one in Miami and then one in Peru. We are looking at a 24 hour day of flights and layovers. Pray for endurance for all of us. We are spending a few days in San Juan with the whole squad before we leave the DR. 50 people living in a house is sure interesting!!!

Be blessed and know that I love each of you and hope that this journey of mine will be impacting for you too.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!!!
