When asked to write what some of my expectations of the mission trip will be, I didn’t quite know what to write about as it’s unknown. Yet I do have some thoughts as to what I am expecting as I endeavour on this new adventure.
1. I expect to be rocked by God
2. To develop a new level of trust in God and him meeting all my needs.
3. To be moved by the people I meet on the mission field.
4. To learn new ways of sharing the gospel with those who don’t know God.
5. To be scared at times and unsure of what is happening next
6. To reach a new level of faith as the months go on.
7. To develop my spiritual gifts through ministry
8. To discover God’s calling in my life in regards to mission work
9. To laugh and cry with my new family on the field
10. Gain a new perspective of the world around me
11. To be uncomfortable alot
12. To be an expert in putting up a tent and living in the great outdoors:)
There is so much I am expecting and these are just a few. I hope these give you a better idea of what I am doing.
