If you only had $1.25 a day to spend what would you spend it on? Would you go outside of that and spend money that maybe you didn’t have? Would you find ways to get more stuff? These are questions I ask myself as I realize we are going to be doing this for 11 months. We are on a very small budget. We can spend our own spending money, but they encourage us to stay with in this budget. In other words learn to live like those we are going to be with.
I often take this for granted and don’t realize how much we have. I love to spend money and think that it’s ok because God will always provide. Well what if you didn’t have that option? We are so rich and take it for granted.
I am looking forward to being challenged and stretched by God in this way and many more.
