Thankfully, life is something that was never intended to be walked alone. Community and Intimacy are beautiful, messy and necessary parts of learning more about God and serving Him. Life on the World Race reflects that – this journey happens in community. I want to honor those I will be doing life with this year and give you a chance to meet them – they are pretty wonderful!
B-SQUAD
Also known as Best Squad, Bomb Squad and Boom Squad.
The 53 people I will be traveling from country to country with. We are one big family. Most of the time we will be spread out serving at separate ministries, and at the end of the month we will all come together for a couple of days and will travel to the next country as a group. Stacey Compton & Mike Sanders
Our squad has two wonderful people leading us. They are each alumni of the Race, so they are pros. 🙂 They will make decisions, minister to us and pour into us. We are blessed to be under the authority and leadership of Stacey Compton and Mike Sanders!
Stacey is from Texas, is an Aggie and taught elementary school before the race. She is a woman of incredible honor who has a heart that beats for our generation. Mike is from Wisconsin. He is fun, warm and creative, and is a warrior with an incredible strength of heart.

TEAM FREEDOM!
These are the people I will be doing ministry with, living with, having fun with and learning with… 24/7. Community? Check. Intimacy? Check. Just the way God designed it. Love it!
"Freedom" is a powerful word for our team. We are all learning to walk in the freedom we have in Christ. We know that it is for freedom that Christ set us free. This year we will be freeing captives. Freedom. We will walk in it and we will fight for it.

Nikki Sienkiewicz

Nikki is like a queen – there is something so regal, so beautiful and so special about her. Her voice is quiet but mighty. Her presence is comforting and soothing, and at the same time is so fun and up for adventure! We share a special bond in our hearts that God is slowly revealing to us. I am so excited to call her my sister and step into this journey with her!
Dave Gardner

Dave and I had connections before even arriving at camp. Through Facebook we discovered that we are both Gators (!) and eventually we realized that he works with the sister of my very close friend, Lauren. Small world? Dave is a man who has a soul that hungers and thirsts for righteousness. He is our team leader and I am so excited to follow under his humble authority. He and I laugh a lot when we're together, and we're already planning some Gator game day traditions we can keep around the world!
Melanie Wilkerson

Melanie is a soft-voiced, kind hearted servant who is just beginning to step into the strength the Lord has created inside of her. She is incredibly intelligent, and though she is the youngest on our team, (she celebrated the big 21 at training camp!) we are quickly learning that when she speaks up we better listen. This girl is going to rock the nations!
Dan Matundan

From the moment he joined our squad's facebook group I knew I was going to be tight with this guy. Then we met at training camp and during casual afternoon discussion we discovered that we'd both been praying for the same truth in the same verse for months. Our hearts had been united in prayer and we didn't even know it! And now we're teammates. God is good! Dan has a heart that God has absolutely wrecked for the nations. This brother has the prayer, "God, break my heart for what breaks yours" pulsing through every fiber of his being. He will bring healing and restoration that will knock people off their feet. I can't wait to be there for it!
Leanna Apland

The tiniest member of our team may also be the biggest ball of joy and energy. Leanna is kind, extremely generous, sincere and earnest. And this girl loves the little things that make life exciting. We have already planned nightly dance parties as our choice of cardio while we're on the race. Her smile lights up a room and I am so excited to have her around and see her shine light and love into the lives of the people we serve!
