I know that I have been called to this opportunity and I also know that I cannot walk this journey alone. I humbly invite you to be a part of this experience and a part of the Lord's work all around the world. PRAY
I have no illusions that this will be easy. Incredible? Life changing? More than I can imagine? No doubt. But easy? Not a chance. I take comfort knowing I have an incredible support system praying for my preparation and work overseas. Here are some specific current prayer requests:
- That God would reveal Himself more to my team and I each day during our preparation
- That support would be provided abundantly for my teammates and myself
- That I would trust the Lord to provide for all of my financial and logistical needs
- That I would be able to balance Race preparation with my current life – work, community, friends, etc.
GIVE
To fulfill my financial obligations for the race I need to raise $15,000. While that is an incredible amount of money, if only 50 people commit to donating $25 a month for one year I will be fully funded! Please believe that ANY contribution is genuinely appreciated (and tax deductible!). Below are some specific ways you can give:

Adventures in Missions is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Donors will receive receipts for their gifts with the understanding that the disbursement of those gifts lies completely at the discretion of Adventures in Missions and that the gifts are non-refundable and non-transferable, per IRS regulations. Gifts may be tax deductible; please consult a tax adviser.
Give Me Gear
There are plenty of supplies I will need to purchase for this trip around the world! I will be living out of a backpack for the year, carrying a tent, sleeping bag, and all of my supplies with me. I'm definitely going to need some gear! If you're interested in helping me purchase any of these items check out my on-line registry.
