This week I'm home in Arkansas.  It's been really great.

I've just been relaxing with my family and enjoying moments like this:

(with my sweet nephew, Bentley.)

Living In Indy, these hometown moments have been few and far between for the last several years. A trip home has been reserved for holidays, weddings, or other special events. It's meant a to-do list, places to be, things to buy and the general busyness associated with such affairs.  So it's been a treat to be here with no agenda or purpose other than just enjoying the every day life of my family.

It's also been a chance for me to reflect on and appreciate the way my family has supported my decision to go on The World Race. Seeing some of my squad-mates struggle in this area has been hard, and I know that I have taken the blessing of family support for granted. They have been behind me, cheering me on, promoting my cause, giving time, talents, gifts and finances and helping me every step of the way. Each word or gift may seem small, but they are raising me up and preparing me for this journey in a special way.

So, to mi familia – thank you to the moon! I'm really blessed. I love you!
