God is doing a new thing!

Behold… I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.   –Isaiah 43:18-19

We are making our way to the end of the race, but God is still doing new things in us and the nations every day!

The latest new thing for me: a new team! 

B-Squad met up at the end of Kenya for our eight month debrief, a time to rest, reflect and get ourselves re-activated in the Spirit! The last day of debrief a couple of things happened that made for a time of complete newness for me!

1. My squad leaders grabbed me and asked if we could talk. Then they invited me to step into a new role, the role of team leader! I was surprised, excited, and a bit overwhelmed, but I accepted the invitation!

2. As a team leader, I inherited a new team! Our squad had some slight changes to the existing teams. I was moved on to a team of all women, a team that was already together before debrief. 

We are embracing the season of newness and approaching our final few months of the race as months in which the Lord can teach us completely new things. That attitude is reflected in our new team name: Nouvelle.
