Have you caught yourself thinking, “I wonder where Reid is at with the World Race?”, or “Shouldn’t he be leaving soon? Where is he in that process?”, or “What is the difference between an attache and a briefcase?” Well, you’re in luck, because I have an answer to most of those questions!

Seriously, what’s the difference? Snobby vs. not snobby?

As for the other two questions, I’m two days away from going to Training Camp! Training Camp (a.k.a. TC) is a week-long orientation, team-building, worship-driven get-to-know-you time (hyphens-are-fun). Four squads (over 250 people) are coming together outside Atlanta, GA to meet each other, worship together, hang out, learn more about our Race, do crazy dance battles and try to fall asleep on the hard ground in tents. It’s going to be intense. HA! Get it?

I’m as nervous as I am excited, as excited as I am terrified, as terrified as I am stoked and as stoked as I am anxious. So if I’m 100%, how much am I of each of those emotions? Comment with the answer. (I’m an engineer, deal with it.)

But seriously, it’s going to be a week like I’ve never had before. I can’t even begin to tell you what is about to go down at TC, because I honestly have no idea. But I know I’m so ready to be there and meet my squad,  hang with my team, and embrace everything that the World Race is and will be.

When I return from TC, I should have a lot more information about my Race, like when exactly I’m leaving, the order of my route and other details. Thank you to all of you that have been asking me questions about the Race; once I get back from TC, I will actually have definite answers for you!

Thank you for your prayers, questions, encouragement, financial support and excitement. I get more excited about the Race each time I talk about it with you all! Thank you for spurring me on and keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. Y’all are the best, and vastly more helpful and encouraging than you realize.

(It’s 20%. I’m 20% of all those emotions. Next post, let’s do some calculus, yeah?)
