With only a few days until training camp, I’m currently prepping myself for the unknown. In order to do so, I have decided to ground myself in Me.

I believe in equality.

I believe in the power of love.

I believe everyone should have the FREEDOM to love.

I believe in the power of coffee.

I believe in wearing socks with sandals.

I believe women are more powerful without makeup.

I believe everyone is beautiful no matter their shape or size.

I believe that NO ONE has the right to comment of anyone’s body image.

If there is water, I will jump in.

If there’s a stage, I will sing on it.

If there’s a platform, I will dance on it.

I love the sound of laughter of the people I love.

I love the smell of flowers. I believe in the literal act of stopping and smelling the roses.

I love waking up to watch the sunrise, then immediately going back to sleep.

I love reality TV. The really bad kind.

I love female koalas, and believe they have purpose and importance.

I believe in getting lost.

I believe in a cold beer at the end of the day.

I believe in sleeping on kanga poo, singing horribly while hiking, tim tam burritos, and having no worries.

I believe I am strong.

I believe I am worthy.

I believe I am loved.

I believe I am enough.

…all through God.

I am sweet, but I am strong. I am a steel magnolia.
