Hey everyone! Wow, it has been a while since I updated you guys last. No worries, though, because I am going to update you right now!

This month we’re in a little village about forty minutes from Kampot, Cambodia. It’s a pretty poor area and there’s only one paved road. Crazy, right?! I know. We spend most of our time teaching English. I teach a preschool English class, ages 3-4, with my friend Kirsten in the mornings and sometimes in the afternoon, if some of the kids decide to show up then instead of in the morning. In the evening, Chase and I teach a high school English class. They understand enough English for us to share our faith with them and some lessons from the Bible. We gave many of them Bibles last week and challenged them to read sections of Scripture and come back to us with questions. It has been a lot of fun! In the afternoons we also do house visits and pray for people. Another thing we do is help our host by working a couple of hours at his coconut business some days.

I think the house visits are my favorite thing of all. We got to do a whole lot of them for two days last week as we went house to house inviting folks to the free clinic that we hosted on Friday. We prayed for lots of people as we visited the families, all of which seemed to have at least one sick person. It was great! We even got free coconuts from one guy. Blessings. And on Friday the medical team from Korea treated over 190 people! It was a great day. I just handed out numbers to the patients and smiled at people. I told many how to say things in English and they told me how to say them in their language, most of which I cannot recall today! Our hosts were so thrilled to provide that help and love to their community.

Here’s some photos of our high school class.

And here is a look at our little ones! Are they not overly cute?
