Dear family and friends,
I’m writing to let you know what is going on in my life. As you may know, I’ve spent the last 5 years working at The Springs. Recently God has called me away from camping. My time at camp has been wonderful; it has grown me as a person and deepened my relationship with Christ. I have mentored the girls staff and developed more skills in the area of program. As I started my search for what was next I prayed God would lead me down the next path with clear signs. I knew ministry was still my calling.
In January a friend shared with my mom about the World Race. I had heard of it before but didn’t know much about it. As I did some research I just knew this was my next step.
The World Race is an 11-month missions trip to 11 countries. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities. We will be preaching the Gospel, planting churches, working in orphanages, ministering to women and children; many trapped in prostitution because of trafficking, and bringing the hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
For me specifically, my mission fields will be Lebanon, Cyprus, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Australia.
I can’t do this missions trip alone! With your help, I will be able to build relationships with people and share the love of Christ around the world. I need to raise support, however I know many have been hit hard financially in this uncertain time. My first request is for prayer, will you consider putting me on your prayer list? Here are some specifics prayer requests
- For me to keep seeking Christ in my daily life.
- For my squad and I can connect with each other as we step outside of our comfort zones and become the hands and feet of Christ.
- For my support raising, as I ask for prayer and financial support from people.
I am just like everyone else right now, wondering how Covid-19 will impact my future. The one thing that is certain in my life is that God is faithful even in these hard times. Nothing has changed with my call to head out on the race to help those who need to hear the good news of God’s faithfulness. In addition to prayer support I need financial support. In the next year I need to raise $18,500. This will cover the cost of all transportation, food, housing, insurance, and other miscellaneous costs. Thankfully I don’t have to be fully funded when I leave for my trip but I do have some deadlines.
- April 25th I need to have raised $2,000
- September 24th I need to have raised $5,000
- December 16th I need to have raised $10,000
- April 30th, 2021 I will need to be fully funded $18,500
