Hello Friends and Family!
While on the World Race I have been working on staying still and listening. Today as we prepared to go on a prayer walk our team leader stopped us from hurrying off and requested that we take time to pray first. She encouraged us to ask God to give us a vision of who we needed to pray for. As I closed my eyes and began talking to God I saw a woman in a rocking chair. It was a blurry image since she was rocking. I tried to focus and see if I could see her face but I couldn’t. Her age and facial features were unclear. To be honest with you that fact made me begin to doubt that it meant anything or if I had just thought of something random. After praying, we walked into a home and the owner put out rocking chairs for all of us to sit in. She sat on the edge of her rocking chair explaining that she had a small relationship with God and she had been feeling depressed and overwhelmed lately. As she swayed back and forth I looked at her face and I was drawn to her. She shared that she is 23 and her eldest child is 11. She is a single mother and she is such a young mother. I requested to hold her hands looked her in the eyes and told her that God was hearing her. I told her about seeing the woman in the rocking chair. I told her that I couldn’t tell if the woman was younger or older and I believed that was because she had to grow up so quickly since she became a mother at thirteen. I shared with her how much God loves her, how valuable she is to God and her 3 children, and that I love her. After telling her about my vision, I prayed for her and I will continue to pray for her. I have included a picture below of Rosievele so you can pray for this sweet young mother as well. Another day we went to the hospital and our team leader issued the same challenge. Before closing my eyes the number 514 came to mind. I once again dismissed this because it came so quickly and I had noticed the room numbers were low. There was no way this hospital had 514 rooms. We began walking around and praying. We prayed for 3 groups of people. Two were on the pain scale of 8+ and after we prayed over them multiple times they said they said their pain was gone! WOW, our God is an awesome God! The last room we entered had a woman who was waiting to have a gallstone removed. She was in some pain but after we prayed for her she started talking about her children and began crying. We comforted her and told her how important she was to God. She is a daughter of Christ. I looked above her bed and saw a number 14 and as we walked out the door I saw a number 5 on the door. This lady was in room 5 bed 14. Once again, Wow! I so glad God is teaching me how to stop and listen. God is doing some crazy faith things within me in Nicaragua. Let’s go!

Dear Lord, I pray that Rosievele knows your love and shares your love with her children. I pray that as guests walk in the house they instantly feel the love and joy bursting out the windows. The love that only you can give. The love of our heavenly father. AMEN
