I've never sent out support letters for my other mission trips because I wasn't allowed to (culturally unacceptable to ask people for money) so this is my first real support letter.

You may or may not know this but about two years ago, I felt called into a life of full-time missions. I have had the opportunity to go on two short term mission trips since then, the first to Ethiopia and the second was to Uganda. Both of these trips were amazing, I had the chance to meet people with incredible stories. I have seen God's love for His people time and time again.
Both of these trips left me with three things: the desire to serve like the apostles did, a burden for those with who have no voice and with the question: “Where do I go from here?” After a lot of pray and meditation, I got my answer.
The World Race.
The World Race is an 11 month mission trip where my team and I will serve in 11 different countries. We will give up our comfortable American lifestyles, our material possessions and live out of a backpack for 11 months. We will serve and love “the least of these” as the hands and feet of Jesus. It will be a stretching journey and I will experience things I never thought I would.
I believe that the Lord calls us to go. To go out and make disciples of all the nations. To be a father to the fatherless and to love the widowed. To feed the hungry and to heal the sick. I believe that these are the reasons that God has laid the World Race on my heart. I will have the chance to serve Him all over the world.
The cost of this trip is $15,500, this will cover travel expenses, food, lodging and administrative costs for 11 months. I am asking you, as my friends and family, to join me in this incredible journey and pray as I step out in faith and obedience to God.
