Well, I got sick for the first time on this trip in
Cambodia. I woke up one morning
and my entire body was aching. I
was exhausted and just didn’t have much energy. I began running a fever that day. My fever kept going up and down for about three
days. I was throwing up and had no
appetite to eat any food. So, I
finally went to the international health clinic in town. At first they thought I had the flu but
it turned out to be intestinal amoebas. So, that was not the most exciting news and to be honest I’m still not
exactly sure what it is. But
at least they knew what was causing the problem. So, I got medication to take for 23 days. I am still taking the medication and
doing much better. I have all my energy back and finally regained my
appetite. I haven’t had any
problems with it since…just have to remember to take my medicine three times a
day. Thanks to everyone for all
