Lord,
I pray for the soldiers who are serving our country as well as the ones have have served in the past. I thank you for each one of them. Each one, laying their lives down to protect us. “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” Jn 15:13 . What an awesome gift they have given each one of us. Some have passed away, while others have come away hurting physically and mentally. I pray that you would comfort them and guide them as they continue to fight for their lives and ours. Be their shelter and hold them close. Be near them when they feel so far away and lonely. Bless their families as they fret and fear for their loved ones lives and give them the strength to make it another day without their loved ones. I know that this time of year is difficult for families to not have their loved ones around and I pray that you would give them a peace of mind.
Thank you Lord for your unfailing love in all circumstances. You are awesome and I love you.

Please say a prayer for the troops. Whether they are serving now, or served in a previous time and especially for the fallen soldiers and their families. They need lots encouragement.
