Here is where you get to learn a little about me. First of all, I am not that great at talking about myself. This will be a big stretch for me, so bear with me. 🙂
Lets begin with the basics: I have an older brother and sister, as well as a younger brother. My sister is married and has 2 children. My older brother lives in Minnesota and my younger brother is in Iraq serving in the Army. (Hoo-Ah). My parents are still happily married and have been for almost 32 years.
I was born into a Christian home, and I really thank God for that every day. I wouldn’t be where I am today without that foundation.
I also have an amazing church family that supports me in all aspects of my life. They are encouraging and uplifting and I know that God has BIG plans for the church as they continue to love people to Christ.
My friends are OUTSTANDING! They encourage me and are great at keeping me accountable.
I have been on 2 mission trips before this one. For the first one, I was able to go to Kenya, Africa. I was excited to be able to work with Homeless Children International and help them with the needs they had. Being able to connect with the children there, was fantastic. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I have also been to Nassau, Bahamas and worked in a blind school while I was there. I loved being able to talk to the children about Jesus and seeing them light up as they learned about a Father who loves them so much that he died so that we could live.
