FYI! Fridays are my funny blog days. Tuesdays will be my more serious and legit blogs. But Fridays will for the most part be funny and just here is kind of what life is like on the world race.
Week 1 has been quite the introduction into what life is like on the race. I have been incredibly blessed with a wonderful host family who has fed us more than we could ever eat. Like literally, we ate lunch at one house and then went to another house and had to eat ANOTHER full meal. And we just all kind of laughed at how insane this situation was. The lady kept bringing out plates of piled on food and we just kept laughing. Um…. i have only taken 3 or 4 showers since ive left and im kind of disturbed that its okay for me not to shower every day. I ate raw fish that still had the head and gills still attached Only had a small bite but hey i still tried it. No sleeping in tents yet, im a little disappointed. NOT!!!! haha. when Ukrainians say they are gonna go for a short walk they mean like 4 or 5 miles. So wear your tennis shoes everywhere. I can now say about 5 words in Russian and I will repeat those 5 words about 500 times a day. Im pretty much fluent in Russian now. hahaha.
so thats about it. Life on the race is blowing me away. This is where im called and i cant wait to see what else God has in store for not only me but for my team. keep us in your prayers, we need them desperately. thanks for all the love and support. off to have some Ukrainian bbq 🙂
