Stuff

Mine! Oh stuff…I feel like the past couple of weeks have been filled with stuff. What stuff am I going to pack? Packing lists…to do list…done lists…I have been kind of over “stuff” for awhile, or so I thought. As I went through security today(1st of many times in the next 11 months) they thought I had something in my bag. I stood there as the security poked and prodded through my very neatly packed carry on. Who does she think she is? Messing up all of my stuff!!!! Ah!

From this moment the Spirit convicted me of “my things” and how I respond when people proceed to mess up my stuff or how I think things should go. It is of my flesh to respond with anger and frustration, but the lord calls us to set our minds on things above, not earthly things. Colossians 3:2. I need to stop focusing on my stuff and focus on the Lord.
 
I have made it safely to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. We will be here for a couple of days for training before we head to the Dominican Republic where my team will be working with a church doing children’s ministries. 

Please be praying for safe travels for my teammates and squadmates as many are traveling here tomorrow. 
Be praying that training goes well and the Lord would prepare us for what is to come. 
Pray that we would function as one body.
