Then the Lord spoke-
John 14:27-
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I DO NOT GIVE TO YOU AS THE WORLD GIVES. Do not let you heart be troubled and don't be afraid."
More on peace…..
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Romans 12:2-
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."
How do we transform our minds? How do I find this peace?
"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you."
Putting into practice and looking forward to what the Lord has next.
So I wrote that two days ago before finding out that I am now a squad leader. Still looking for that peace:) I will now be focusing on the women team leaders and women on the squad.
This is definitely a new season of the race, so please be praying for a smooth transition and for the Lord to do his work. We are flying to Nepal at 8:00 tomorrow morning and heading to Kathmandu for a couple of days before going to visit teams. Pray for safe travels and for me to figure out what this next season is going to look like.
