Hello! So, I am new to this whole blogging thing..I don't even update my status on facebook, so this could be a little rocky to start..BUT lets jump right in!
A little bit about myself….
-I graduated from Elmhurst College last May with a degree in Elementary Education, but did not feel that God was leading me to teach SO I am currently a nanny.
– I LOVE children. I am a nanny for a 7 year old girl and twin girls that are 5. They are totally awesome and I love spending time with them.
-I have an amazing family that supports me in everything that I do. I have an older sister/brother- in-law, older brother/sister-in-law, a twin brother( I am 11 min older 🙂 ) and two amazing nephews.
-I am currently living with my best friends having so much fun hanging out.
-I love coffee and running.
After graduating last May and realizing that God was not calling me to teach, I had no idea what I was going to do with my life. I knew that He had a plan for me, but I had no idea what that was. He has totally changed and stretched me this year in learning what it means to truly trust in Him and His provision for my life. I do have an amazing job in which I get to have fun everyday with 3 beautiful girls, in which Christ has given me a passion for. This job will soon be ending in September when the twins will be going to kindergarten. At that point, I will move home to Aledo, IL…3 1/2 hours from where I am currently at.. I will move back in with my parents and wait to go on the amazing adventure that God has called me to! I am so very excited to be a part of the World Race. I know that Christ has some many different things in store for the 11 months and I am stoked to start this journey.
My current prayer is that He would begin to prepare my heart. I will be leaving my job soon that I love. I will be leaving my family and friends, but ultimately I will have the awesome opportunity to serve Christ and His people in ways that I have never encountered.
So as I prepare for this journey, I am trusting!!!! Trusting that God will make a way in every circumstance, trusting that His plans are so much better than my own and trusting that He will provide!!!!!
