New role description: Be available
At first I didn't know what squad leading was going to look like.
I was stepping into unknown territory.
The Lord has been showing me the past couple of weeks what it looks like to be available.
Being available to God. Each morning I wake up and ask Him what He wants for the day. Begging Him to give me His eyes to see what is going on around me. Are there certain people He has put on my heart? Is there a certain team He wants me to visit?
Waiting for His Spirit to lead me.
In being available to God, I open myself up for being available to people, specifically women on our squad.
Do they need someone to talk to? Do they need to hear truth? Do they just need someone to go to the store with them?
Making the most of every opportunity that I have left on the race.
Not planning every second of everyday is allowing God to lead me through my day.
As I have entered into this new season of squad leading, I am stepping into a new season of being available.
What does it look like to be available in your life right now?
UPDATE:
The past 2 weeks in Nepal have been amazing.
I have had more time to process and have started thinking about what it is going to look like to come home. Craziness. Please be praying about that transition.
The guys and I have had the opportunity to see some beautiful parts of this country while hiking.

Leeches+not feeling them sucking your blood+pulling them off of your skin+ continuing to bleed=bloody socks and shoes. Sad day.
(Leeches are super interesting. You should google them.
Fun facts: salt kills them, they are blind and they have an amazing sense of smell)
We have spent time with 2 teams in Kathmandu and are currently with a team just outside Kathmandu who are working with Asha ministries.
Please pray for God's spirit to reign in this place.
For people to stop worshipping idols and worship the one true God.
Thanks for all of your prayers.
Peace.
