Emily Miller
Emily is one of the first people I met when I signed up for the race.  We were the pioneers for video chats on our squad, which ultimately led to many squadmates meeting and getting to know eachother.  Emily is such a wise, discerning, and compassionate woman of God.  I know that Emily and I will bicker like old women (we’ve discussed this) but I’m so excited to see how God uses our relationship to grow and stretch each other.
Proverbs 27:17

Kyle Hyche
I didn’t know Kyle well before training camp, but I could tell that he was definitely a man after God’s heart.  And getting to know him at training camp only confirmed my suspicions.  Kyle has such a loving spirit and strong leadership qualities.  He brings so much care and support to the women on our team.  I can’t wait to see how God uses him this next year to sustain, encourage, and bind our team together for God’s glory.
1 Thessalonians 5:10-11

Linley Sullivan
I’m not sure I even knew Linley was on our squad until we spent the night together on the bus (sorry girl…).  But she and I quickly connected and I began to see the loving and joyful spirit that makes her such an amazing woman of God.  Linley brings such a caring personality to our team that really helps tie us together.  After spending just a week with her, I’m so stoked to see God use her to bind this team together in His love.
Philippians 1:8-11

Sharion Scott
Sharion is an amazing woman, who brings so much goodness to our team.  I’m so excited for the gentle spirit that she has in Christ, and how she can light up a room just by walking in.  I know Sharion will bring such a balance to our team with her tenderness and peace.  She has so much wisdom and harmony to bring to the team, and I am so excited to grow even closer to this new sister God has given me.
1 Peter 3:4

Will Boggs
I’m so thankful for Will being the leader of team Throne Unveiled.  Will has such a strong, kind, and gentle character.  I’m excited to see him lead our team with boldness and confidence in the power he has in Christ.  He is definitely a born leader, and I know he will do whatever it takes for our team to bring glory to God’s name.  I’m so eager to see how God moves this next year in Will’s life and our team.
Ephesians 4:1-6

If you would have asked me at the beginning of training camp to pick my “power team” I probably would not have picked this team.  I would have picked wrong.  I would have picked the people I had gotten to know the best before camp.  But I would have missed out on Emily’s compassion, Kyle’s care, Linley’s joy, Sharion’s peace, and Will’s strength.  Even though I know teams tend to change throughout the race, I could not imagine a better team than the one God has put me on for this season in my life.  Pray for each of us as we prepare in these last few weeks to leave everything we know to serve Jesus together in these countries.
