First of all, I apologize for not posting more often. I have not been the best steward of this outlet to let you all know how I am doing on this Race. I plan on writing more this week, so prepare your inboxes next weekend (I only grab internet on the weekends) for a few updates.

In the meantime, here is a quick run down of where I have been these past few months…

Romania: It was another all-squad month where we live and serve with our entire squad. We worked in a Village called Dragnesti-Olt and Stoinesti. Our main objective was to bring the word to those villages. We did some street evangelism and recruiting for the church we were working with: Hope Church Dragnesti. We sorted through Operation Christmas Child boxes, helped prepare for the Parent Vision Trip (where parents come visit their children on the field) and helped with web site development. In the village we attended church, told testimonies and helped run a kids club. It was a great time to enjoy some cold weather and impact the locals. There were a lot of Roma people (Gypsy) and we made it a priority to pray for and love them.

Moldova: My team: Team Last worked in Larga Village with a local pastor. We served him specifically at his home. We chopped wood, did some demolition and played with and loved on their children. We attended local church and provided testimonies and music. We lived in a tiny bungalow that was heated through a wood stove. It was quite the adventure keeping the fire going for this city girl.

Guatemala: We worked with a ministry called Mobilizing Students. Our hosts were an American couple who have a heart to see the Villages of Barbenera completely defendant on the Lord. We taught local women how to make paper beads for bracelets (The Thrive Collective), women’s bible studies, kids clubs, home visits and hosted a soccer tournament for the village men once a week. The black beans and pineapple were flowing and we loved the beauty of the mountainside.

Sorry it’s so short and sweet. More to come…
