Living off of support is a humbling experience – it causes me to depend on God (and others) for everything that I need. It’s also a Biblical principle: seen in the Old Testament with the priests and Levites living off the tithes and offerings of the nation of Israel (Numbers 18:19-24), in the New Testament through Paul’s life (especially noted in 1 Corinthians 9:3-7), and especially in Jesus’ life and example (see Luke 8:1-3).

With that being said, I need to let you all know that I am again raising support. The time I will be spending in Gainesville this fall and winter is an internship/apprenticeship with AIM, and so I need to raise support for that as well as the two years I will be living in India.  While in Gainesville, I will be participating in leadership development and discipleship at AIM, with Michael Hindes and others teaching, challenging, and discipling us. It will be a season of exploring, discovering my tribe, asking hard questions, and living a life led by the Spirit – an investment into me and my future. This will be a great launching pad for myself and my team as we prepare to live and minister in India. Since this is an apprenticeship, the cost is a support-raised $10,000. $1000 of that goes to AIM for program costs, and the rest is my salary. After those six months, I will be living off more support in India. I am not sure what our budget or support needs will be there, but do know that this will be a faith journey as I rely on God and others to provide for all my needs. I would love to be fully-funded (or even almost all-the-way funded) before I even leave for Gainesville in a month so that I can completely focus on the teaching and discipleship I will be receiving as well as the ministry we will be developing, but know that would take a miracle. Would you be willing to consider helping make that miracle happen?

Here are the details on various ways to give:

Option 1: Credit or Debit card donations

  • pros: quick and efficient. most preferred method, able to setup automatic monthly withdrawals, easy online access.
  • cons: 5% fee deducted from my support account which goes to the credit card company to pay for that convenience
* if you click the “support me” link on the left side of the page, you will be directed to AIM’s online donation page, where you can do a one-time credit/debit card donation or set up a recurring payment as well

Option 2: Bank draft donors

  • pros: quick and efficient online access
  • cons: 3% fee deducted from my support account which goes directly to the processing company to pay for that convenience

Option 3: written check donors

  • pros: no fee deducted. sent directly to AIM’s bank where it is deposited. the bank then sends an image of that check to our accounting department to apply toward my support
  • cons: can take approximately 2 weeks from the date you mail the check before I will be able to see it in my support account

*if mailing a check, please make it out to Adventures in Missions. don’t put my name anywhere on the check, but rather on a separate note that says it is for me for the India Initiative. send checks to:
             Adventures in Missions
             P.O. Box 534470
             Atlanta, GA 30353-4470

Option 4: DynaPay donations

  • pros: automatic deduction from your checking account each month with no fees.
  • cons: you MUST contact the office to stop the automatic withdrawal when you no longer wish to keep giving. DynaPay will continue to deduct each month unless you directly say “please cancel my donation now.”

*to sign up for DynaPay, fill out this form and return it signed with a voided check to:

                                                        Adventures in Missions,
                                                        Attn: Accounting,
                                                        6000 Wellspring Trail,

                                                        Gainesville, GA 30506.

Thanks for helping advance God’s kingdom through the work He has called me to do!
