We’re leaving the Philippines early tomorrow morning, and ‘m not too excited about that. Given the choice of any of the three countries we’ve been to thus far, I would definitely choose to come back here. I loved the Philippines in general, but specifically the island of Bohol and everything there.

We had an amazing ICM staff we worked with, awesome pastors who are just completely on fire for God even when it’s the hardest thing in the world to be a Christian where they are, gorgeous views every day and night, so many fun memories, great bonding moments with my teammates, wonderful friends we met in random places like bakeries and on the street and in the mall, fun movie dates with “our boys” from ICM (and Blair!), awesome sight-seeing opportunities and gorgeous beaches to relax on. It was a wonderful awesome amazing stupendous magnificent fantastic four weeks, and I really didn’t want to leave…but the time has come.

So thanks to all of you who made our time in Bohol so awesome. Thanks to our new life-long friends. Thanks to God for the gorgeous island He created.

So we’re moving on…that’s what the World Race is all about – new month (new year!), new country. I wish I could tell you all where we’re going and what we’re going to be doing, but it’s a closed Asian country and that means we can get in trouble if their government knows we’re there telling people about Jesus. So to protect the people we’ll be working with this month, I’ll be out of contact – no email, no skype, no facebook, and no blogs. Pray for us – it’s going to be an awesome month, God already told me that. And when we’re done there I’ll let you know some of what we got to do and what God did through us. See you on the other side!
