I thought this week I’d let you all in on some of my experiences through pictures. I know I had at least one request for a better look at the chicken bus.

Here we are catching the chicken bus on the way to ministry at the school, CANI.

This is the inside of the chicken bus during a less crowded ride.

Lauren and I making a dinosaur eating a duck out of play-doh with a small audience.

The other half of our ministry at the school. We’re working on a soccer field for the kids in an area where there are few options for safe places to play.

This is our trip in a water taxi cross lake Atitlan on the way to Santiago where we spent an adventure day. I accidentally smiled at the same time as everyone else.

This is our hike to the top of an active volcano called Pacaya

This was another adventure day when we hiked to the top of an active volcano called Pacaya. All that weird steam is coming from deep inside the Earth. Pretty cool.

I just had another moment today when I realized how crazy it is that I’m here right now. Maybe it’s the pictures and maybe it’s because I had some time to think as I recover from a cold this week. Things have been moving quickly. In no time at all we’ll be in Nicaragua. I look forward to taking you all with me.
