Hi Friends Becca here!!

Since you’re all tagging along on this journey as my trip nears I really wanna share with you what the Lord is teaching me! So, here is something I feel like He’s laid on my heart to share. I think life truly is a learning lesson. As people who are flawed, lost, mistaking making, anything but perfect humans we are learning new things each and every day. God puts things in our path continually to teach us about him, ourselves, and the things that surround us. Every season of life we are in teaches us something. There will be seasons of learning when it is difficult to learn. When we have to learn lessons that are sad, painful, or simply things we just do not want to hear. Some seasons will be joyful and we’ll be learning beautiful things while the Lord is opening our eyes and hearts to things of all color around us. Finally, we could be in a season of confusion, maybe you know you’re learning something from the Lord but you haven’t figured out what exactly it is yet or why you’re learning it. All along the way while we’re learning whatever the Lord is teaching us we have to experience things. You’ve heard it said so many times “you live and you learn” well surprisingly enough that is actually in the Bible, yes I know, you’re as shocked as I was, but in 1 Corinthians 3:18-23. Paul actually speaks about wisdom, and how wisdom is hard to come by or to gain yourself and that we have to “let him become a fool so that he can become wise”. This means that those past mistakes, the things you’re holding onto so tightly, the sins that are weighing you down. You have to take those experiences, learn from them, and let them go. I think we forget that those “learning lessons” or mistakes we made are in the PAST, and we can’t change the past. We have to realize that God will use those experiences to grow us and change our hearts. We have a Jesus that gave up his own life for us. He said YOU are worth it, no matter how many mistakes you make, how many times you have to make a fool of yourself to learn something, or however many times you doubt me. YOU are worth it. So yes, life is a learning lesson and Jesus died for you to sit in the classroom and read the one book that has everything you need in it. So pick it up and start reading because class is in session folks.

Much Love,

Becca
