By now, you are probably aware of the fact that I LOVED Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur is an INCREDIBLE city that I completely thrived in.

We were there during Chinese New Year, so the local Pavilion Mall was DECKED OUT in the most elaborate decorations I had ever seen in my life. Everything was red and gold. I spent hours just soaking in the decor around the city, and I went to many CNY presentations (musical, lion acrobatics, traditional dances, and even a meet-and-greet with the Chinese god of prosperity!).

The city is a beautiful interconnected maze that is an absolute adventure to explore.
The KLCC park is the perfect place to do morning runs.
The Petronas Twin Towers are stunning during the day and at night.
The local Malays, and the vibrant international presence were superb to interact with… I truly met the best people.
Kingdom City church was the ONLY church around the world I have encountered that felt like Flatirons Church from back home… it was more refreshing than I can ever describe to attend there.
The food is DELICIOUS: Kuala Lumpur has the best falafel places!
The night market is riveting.
I got to share with my squad in an hour+ presentation a condensed batch of knowledge on many world religions (Christianity, Taoism, Buddhism, Animism, Hinduism, Confucianism, & Islam), which is something I absolutely love to do.
The bars are SO FUN to go dancing at.
The malls are so big that I literally got lost inside of one— it took me over 40 minutes to find my way out.
The hostel we stayed at has the most incredible staff, and amazing people that come to visit from around the world.
Chinatown had incredible people, ping-pong tournaments, and food…

And honestly, I could go on and on.
Kuala Lumpur was the best.

And because I am big believer that pictures can speak 1,000 words, please enjoy this collection of some of my favorite photos (and people & places) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia:

Sending love from Asia,
