Hello there! If you have found yourself on this section of my blog, you are probably looking for some insight as to who this “Rebecca Harper” person is. Let me help you out with that.

Well, I’m a college graduate— I got my Bachelors in Business and Marketing at Colorado Christian University, with an emphasis in Biblical studies. I will forever be thankful for how that university shaped me, for all of the professors that poured into me, and for the amazing friends I made along the way. #SkoCougs

There are a lot of things I absolutely adore to do in my free time… For example…

Playing soccer
Going dancing [The Grizzly Rose, Denver, CO]
Watching hockey [Colorado Avalanche!!]
Kickboxing
Visiting the Northern Arapaho tribe [Wind River Indian Reservation, WY]
Hiking [Boulder, CO]
Trying new things/ getting new skills
Volunteering at Flatirons Church [Lafayette, CO]
Building houses in Mexico [AMOR Ministries]
Exploring and traveling

If I’m being honest, though, none of that is helpful to know who I am. Those are things I have accomplished, and things I am passionate about.

So. Who am I?

My name is Rebecca Ellen Harper, and I am a daughter of the KING OF ANGEL ARMIES. I am important, and chosen. I am healed, new, and redeemed. I am beautiful, powerful, and strong. I am righteous, holy and blameless. I am saved, hopeful, and joyful. I am a co-heir, I am FORGIVEN, and I am enough.

I know these things because on a day in history, a couple thousand years ago, Jesus gave His life so I could be granted mine. I am His beloved, I am His creation, and these are the things He says I am… And I believe Him.

I am so, so far from perfect. And I know what it feels like to have no hope. And I know what it feels like to sink with the weight of life until you hit rock bottom. I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone.

But GOD, through an unimaginable amount of grace, pursued me. And ever since I invited Christ to walk through life with me, I have become so joyful. I AM SO LOVED. And guess what? YOU ARE TOO. Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. And now John 3:16.

Love is not dependent on where someone is from, where they have been, or what they have done. Love is above all of that. Love is a choice. And because I have been so freely given love, I will now intentionally spend the rest of my life loving others.

My name is Rebecca, and because I bumped into Jesus, I get to see what is good, pure, and lovely in life again. Life seems SO worth living, and so breathtaking again. The spark in my heart, my confidence in myself, and my belief in the possibility of miracles are alive again. Just like when I was a kid.

And now, with this new adventure and chapter in my life, I can officially say…

Hello to you! My name is Rebecca Harper and I am a World Racer.
