Training camp is just beginning and yet here I am without a single doubt in my my mind that I was made to do this. I have about $480 in my checking account and still $9,800 to fundraise and again doubt free, worry free and stress free. I know who I am and I know He is faithful. Once training camp is complete we will have 45 days until we launch. Launch is the final stage of preparation before leaving US soil. The time spent at training camp has been surreal and so full of His goodness. Training camp is a challenge but it has also been the most affirming 15days that have filled my spirit with such a confidence. Here are 45 ways the Lord has affirmed me and my obedience as I step into this next chapter of my life with Him and the people around me.
1. First day, I felt the weightiness of His presence. It set a precedence.
2. I was called out and asked to share my testimony to the story telling workshop crew.
3. Instantly knowing that me being vulnerable and speaking out in obedience was about to open the door for many others.
4. The beginning of two very strong connections with two of my squadmates. (Jewel and Kati)
5. Tent living… this encompasses the raw, real, communal living Adventures in Missions strives for.
6. A WHOLE LOT OF RAIN. Adapt and overcome.
7. Being asked to be interviewed through the course of training camp with the purpose of reaching future racers. A true honor. (Thanks Joe and Johnfrank)
8. Learning how to give and receive fresh feedback in a healthy, encouraging and uplifting way.
9. Then saying “thank you” to whatever that feedback may be.
10. Hearing from amazing, gifted, and wise men/women of God.
11. Spending time in Gods glory.
12. Celebrating with Jewel who received a miracle and a life free from migraines! Hallelujah!!!
13. Dancing and worshiping like an absolute fool.
14. Being reminded that my small decisions make my big ones.
15. That it is entirely up to me to say “YES”!
16. And to OWN that yes.
17. That whatever I do overseas has already been a fulfilled promise from God. (Rev. 7:9)
18. I don’t have to exert myself to do or accomplish anything because a moment in His presences changes everything.
19. He makes loving effortless.
20. That I can go in confidence.
21. He holds my victory over EVERYTHING: fundraising, salvations, good relationships, and a life after the race.
22. That I don’t follow the King of the Universe because it makes sense.
23. I don’t have to understand but I get to wonder, discover and get completely obliterated by His goodness.
24. That I have the power to give something control in my life or not.
25. The reason I gain freedom is so that I get to encounter more of Him, have a relationship with Him, and to sit where He’s prepared a table for me.
26. Forgiveness WILL let me live a life of love.
27. In order to share love I MUST know that I am loved.
28. That the God of all creation is madly, insanely, and hopelessly in love with me.
29. I’ve been affirmed in His goodness not His safeness.
30. That I have a dope inheritance. Wow!
31. No matter how far I run He is always chasing after me.
32. Life is ministry and ministry is life.
33. Everything I do should be coming from an overflow.
34. The overflow comes from seeking His sweet face.
35. That fire will always fall on sacrifice.
36. I am wrapped in His grace, mercy and love.
37. I am able and secure.
38. He blessed me with a new family!
39. He qualifies me.
40. He’s a good dad.
41. He’s Jehovah Jireh my provider.
42. He CHOOSES ME!
43. He is my exuberance and joy.
44. Holy Spirit is my voice of reason.
45. Such a time as this!
Let’s get after it!!! Now and forevermore. I am a child! I am a disciple. I am a vessel ready to shift atmospheres with the Joy of a good Father. It’s all for you Jesus!
