175 days until I embark on my next adventure. 175 days until I launch. 175 days until I uproot my life and go to the nations to serve the God who breathed it all into existence.

I have expressed in a previous blogpost about my “why” but I don’t think I could ever drive that home far enough… only I truly get why. I am humbled and just in awe of all of you who are continuously supporting me through prayer and finances. We are 15% funded!!! THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!

In this post I wanted to share more of  why I am going on the World Race and some things I am most excited about. My passion for people is undeniably huge but realistically I am going to be doing more than just chatting up the Gospel to strangers in the Middle East. This experience is an entire year of my life. I am honored to be able to serve and partner with such a great organization that values my same beliefs. I have yet to receive any details about specific ministries we will be participating in nor specific cities or regions in any of the 11 countries. I do know that God is already putting so much on my heart for the people of these nations. One thing that He has been challenging me most with is to be purely simple yet extravagant.

The Gospel is simple, His love is complex

Ephesians 2:8 “For it was only through the wonderful grace that we believed in him. Nothing we did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the gracious gift from God that brought us to Christ!” (TPT)

2 Corinthians 5:21 “For God made the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we who did not know righteousness might become the righteousness of God through our union with Him.” (TPT)

1 John 4:19 “Our love for others is our grateful response to the love God first demonstrated to us.” (TPT)
