So you want to know some more about me? Here are some of the basics:
Jesus loves me, and my lifetime will be spent learning how to truly receive his love and share it with others.
I am engaged to the most incredible man, and I trust God completely with our time apart. God always writes the best stories, and I love what He's doing with ours.
I love to sing. I do it often.
(Of course, I happen to be an elementary school music teacher, so, it kind of comes in handy.)
I’m the youngest in my family. There’s a big age gap (13 and 15 years) between me and my sister and brother.
They are each married, and I have 3 nieces and a nephew.
I love my friends. They are funny and encouraging, and I wouldn’t be who I am without all their love and support.
You will recognize my laugh, you will like it, and you will laugh with me. And sometimes, at me.
(But I’m sure I’ll be laughing too, so, it’s cool.)
If you reference something from The Office, I will get it.
I like a good chai latte. I’m also a fan of ice cream and dessert in general.
I love worship music and I love worshipping with music. A good week for me will include getting to worship with friends at one of the growing Houses of Prayer in northern New Jersey. (And I can only imagine what those HOPs are going to look like when I get back from the race!)
I have a cat named Superkitty. She is, in fact, super. If anyone speaks cat, please explain to her why I’m not around. It would make me feel a lot better about leaving her with my parents.
I have never, ever, been on a missions trip before the World Race.
