Time on the race definitely moves faster as the months go on. I can't believe we are already finishing up our time in Guatemala and moving on the Honduras the end of this week. I have loved our ministry this month. Being with students in the classroom has been a big part of that; but, an even bigger part of that has been the women I've been teaching with. As I think I've mentioned previously, with the exception of Majil, the women I'm working with are from other teams. We have affectionately named our ministry team Nacho Business. (Say it out loud… “Not yo' biz nass!!!”) We have had a blast traveling from school to school with our contact Luis. Well, except for this one day…. if you'd like to read about it, check out Ashley Edwards blog here.

At the end of this blog, I posted another school video to give you an idea of where we've been teaching. But, before that, I have some pics and other racer's blogs to share with you.

First, some Nacho Business pics:

Traveling on the bus to one of our schools.
Our contact, Luis, is the one making a face behind Majil.
Luis always made things interesting on ministry days.  =)

Teaching a lesson about identity using soda bottles without their labels as an illustration.

Another awesome Nacho Business photo.

If you're looking to waste a little more time online and want to know what the rest of Ignition is up to, here are some blogs that you might find interesting:

-Antigua caters to tourists, and there have been some fun things to do on our days off. One of my favorites was visiting the ChocoMuseo with Majil. She has a blog with pictures about our visit here.

-There have been two other ministries that Z-Squad has been working with in Antigua. My teammate Ashley has been caring for malnourished babies and my teammate Sam has been working at Casa Maria, a group home for the elderly. Maggie LaVigne wrote an excellent blog describing part of the Casa Maria experience here.

-As for the guys on my team, they are located a few hours away as they experience a month of what the World Race likes to call Manistry.  Matt & John Michael put together a video about one of their experiences and Nick posted a blog about an amazing day at a school they visited.

Well, I guess that's about all for Guatemala. Your prayers are greatly appreciated, especially as we travel through Central America. The end of the race is near, and, I will confess I am now counting the days. I'm realizing that I might feel like I'm ready to go home, but, God is ready to bless me more than I've ever imagined by staying here. So, Month 10, here I come…

Here's the video I promised at the beginning of the blog:
