We have made it to Cusco for debrief! After getting about an hour and half of sleep last night we left the church in Villa El Salvador at 3 am for the airport.
We had a pretty sweet going away party at our host families house the other night. We treated them to chichen nuggets, macaroni casserole and a veggie tray. We also introduced them to the all-American game of pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey…it was hilarious! Our only rule for the evening was that they couldnt do any work…I am sure it was a struggle for them, they are some of the most hospitable people I have ever met!

This is little Juan Eteban, he crashed hard after a LOT of sweets!

We also wrapped up our ministry in Lomo de Corvina the other day. We got all the walls and most of the roof up on the new church building. We had the first church service with record-breaking attendance…hehe.
Here we are, hard at work!

Thanks so much for all of your Peru prayers! Your next prayer assignment, if you should choose to accept…Argentina! We will be in Buenos Aires for one week after debrief and we could use some prayers. This time is a practicum for us and we dont exactly know what we will be doing yet. I am sure that the ministry will find us, though!
Thank you again for your comments, they are so encouraging!
