Even though we are already nearing the end of our time in Peru, Mexico is heavy on our hearts.

The pastor that we were staying with and supporting is in need of some help. He is a very passionate man that loves the Lord, but he lacks the kind of training that he desires to shepherd his flock effectively.

There is a Bible training school that I have mentioned in previous blogs that is able to help him. The schooling is free, but Marcos needs some financial help to support his family while he is away from them. He actually started school in January and has put his trust in the Lord completely to provide for his family.

The training is a total of 8 months of classroom time, but is broken up over two years. The estimated cost is a mere $1,300 to support the family while Marcos is away and this includes transportation to and from school on the weekends. Please consider helping Marcos and his family. This pittance will have eternal significance beyond our imaginations and we believe it to be God’s provision for this community. Team 61 is committed to seeing this through and we ask your partnership in this endeavor.

If you feel led to support Marcos please put “Marcos in Palenque” in the memo and send your checks to:
