Our race in Lima, Peru has been the best thus far!
Our media team is in charge of planning out the races for us and they recruited the help of the local missionary and his family to help. Bob, Becky and Kelsey Cooley know the city well and were able to put together a truly amazing race.

Our race requirements included everything from swimming about 40 yards into the Pacific Ocean and back, to finding names on a mural, to eating cow heart!

It was a great opportunity to see the hot spots of Lima in a few short hours. We did a great deal of running around, taxi hailing, and strategizing.
Alas, Team 61 did not win. In fact, we ended up being docked some time for getting some wrong information and making a couple of dumb mistakes…but it didn’t matter, we still had a great time!

We ended our race at the top of a hill where there is a huge cross. We were able to pray for our time in Lima and prepare our hearts for whatever the Lord has in store.
