We arrived in Bangkok last week!
Thailand is awesome and I am loving the city. The culture is so polite and accommodating. The sites are beautiful and, something I didn’t realize would make me so happy…it reminds me of home! It is very green, hot, humid and wonderful.
We have been working with a great ministry called Night Light (
www.nightlightbangkok.com). They are actually a for-profit business here in Thailand and they work to get girls out of the industry of prostitution. They are a jewelry business to give the girls an alternative job. We have opportunities to actually go out to the bars with the people from Night Light and build relationships with the girls. If they ever need help the girls can trust the NL ladies and know they have a place to go. Please pray for us girls as we do these outreaches. The bars are very dark places and we want to shine the light of Christ there.
