Hey All,

We are into double digit months on the Race! Only two months left.

But two months is plenty of time for God to change our lives and use us to love His children. I am really excited for Belize and the USA. Belize is a country I did not know much about and am really excited to experience the culture. God really broke my heart for the USA while we were in South Africa, and I am very eager to do ministry in my own country.

Guatemala was a good month. We lived on a compound in the country surrounded by greenhouses and fields. We worked with Loving Arms in Parramos doing a variety of tasks around their office from teaching to manual labor. I was able to help with some computer projects, organize, paint, and teach English and knitting. Yep, I actually taught a group of ladies to knit. They were a fun group. It was a different month of ministry and in many ways way out of the missionary box we sometimes put ministry into. However, we were the hands and feet this month. We were able to do the everyday, the mundane, the ordinary things that are often overlooked for lack of time. It may not have been glamorous, but it was helpful.

We also had two huskies, and I had my own room, sorta. There was an alcove off of our main room that we had to walk through to get to the bedrooms. In that alcove were two futons so I claimed one as my bed. It was nice to pretend I was alone after everyone else went to bed.

Thank you!
Rebecca
