Last week I was back home in Star Valley, Wyoming. I was able to stay with a family friend who we call an aunt and help her with some animal shelter events. She and I went up to my parent’s old house so I could say goodbye. It was a wonderful time to catch up with friends that are more like family, make some new connections, and visit the church of my childhood.

It was also a safe place to kick off fundraising and begin asking for help with the World Race. My childhood church, Morning Star Baptist Church, in Alpine, Wyoming became my first church sponsor. The community has grown and changed a lot in the years I have been away, so I was able to meet several new friends and share with them this adventure. Thank you all for your prayers and support!

Fall is quickly descending on the Valley. As I left through the Snake River Canyon I was able to see this beautiful mountain ash. Every fall it is the first to turn and was a wonderful send off.

Thank you Abba for your beauty and your provision.
