Travels in India!

We arrive in Mumbai, India from Cape Town, South Africa… And our journey begins.

We take a 2 hour car ride from airport to home in Mumbai.
And stay in Mumbai for 5 days.

We then have a 2 hour car ride from our home in Mumbai to train station.
Before going 27 hours on a train to Calcutta.
Once arriving we take a 3 hour car ride to the house.
We stay in Calcutta for 5 days.

On the move again, this time we are taking a plane.
We drive an hour to the airport and then the flight is about an hour and half long.

Safely in Jaipur – sadly we are only here 3 full days,

Time for a different mode of transport – this time an overnight bus to Udaipur – 8 hrs
We stay in Udaipur 3 days.

The drove from Udaipur to Jhabau was one of the most uncomfortable.
7 hours in a car in the middle of the day with no a/c on back roads.

Our time in Jhabua is short only 2 days and 1 night.
Our leaving Jhabua was more of an ordeal than anything.
Driving to the train station, missing our train, driving home.
Driving to the airport 6 hours away on uncharted roads.

Catching our flight to New Delhi.  Staying in Dehli for 5 days.
Going to the Taj Mahal! Driving 11 hours in one day to see it…

Flying to Mumbai and staying for 2 days before traveling for debrief….

Wow! What a month… Sooo much traveling and moving. It's time to settle in….

All in all – 80+ hours of traveling with our packs this month. On the way to Nepal now!
