Urgent Prayer Request: India
Hey Everyone!
I have landed in Mumbai, India, and I have an urgent prayer request for you. I need you to start praying. Today. In fact, I have a 30 day challenge that I would love for you to be a part of this month. Will you commit to say a prayer for India and my team every day in the month of August? This is the first month that I really felt burdened to write to everyone. I need you to back me and my team up. I need prayer warriors at home who are praying every day for us. Just once a day – whether that is at breakfast or at dinner. Your prayers are needed.
Team Unveiled Pursuit is entering a month of spiritual warfare and spiritual freedom. India is a place where there is a heaviness, where there are strongholds, where the people need freedom in Christ but cannot find it. India is a place where Christians can be persecuted, where Christians are run out of villages, where Christianity is not accepted. India is a place where women are mistreated, abused, and pushed around; where it is a curse to be born a woman. India is a place…. a place that needs CHRIST.
This month my team is working with an organization called Burn 24/7. Throughout the month we are going to be having burns – 24 hour worship and prayer sessions. There will be speakers, musicians and prayer going on in different cities throughout the country for 24 to 48 hours. We are starting out in Mumbai, then going to Calcutta, and New Delhi. Along the way we will going to unreached villages and ministering to the "untouchables." We will be going to 'high places' (literally and figurative) where the witch doctors live. We are entering a month of unknowns and following God wherever He leads. But I need your help.
Please start praying. We are entering a month of spiritual warfare where the devil is going to attack- unless we are together on this. We are going to have to put on the armor of God every day. Every day is going to be different, new, and challenging. But with God all things are possible. And we know this is where we need to be, because Satan is already trying to break us down… which isn't going to happen. Please pray. My team members are Becca, Dania, Tyler, Matt, and Michael, and our squad leader Ben will be going with us for the month.
